I'm going with genuine Mercedes parts I asked for a quote using only genuine parts and the extra tra cost was minimal so I requested only genuine parts.
I assume since my car is a 2010 model the timing chain components have probably been updated since then (seems later om651s don't have this issue much) so the new parts should be superior to the ones it left the factory with.
My concern is them using cheap bits but charging me for genuine, to be fair I do trust the garage but should I ask for the recipient of the parts? Is this reasonable?
