Ah! totally misunderstood there in my desire to get what I wanted Wighty.

I have been seriously contemplating doing back box and tips delete and just putting in straight pipes with oval tips on them. The hold up is that I can't predict what sort of noise that will produce. If it was just a little louder than it is at the moment I would do it but, knowing my luck it would be an 'orrible noise that was not in keeping with the class of the car and spoil the effect I want.
