Fitted 2 new D2S Bulbs as there was a slight difference in colour - only to find out that D2R's were fitted incorrectly and one was a Phillips and the other an Osram.... Why do people do this, don't people know they should be changed in pairs!!! (Unless in an emergency).
Same as Shocks or Springs should be!

Oh, and tried to get the Disc Changer working all the time - not intermittently. All I managed to do was get it to NOT work ALL the time...lol. Might as well bin it to free up that nice little cubby it sits in.

Second major expense on the SLK after the 2 rear tyres (which I might add have excessive road noise)........Full set of disc's and pad's courtesy of Grangemouth Mercedes :D

Replaced the Passenger side Vent as the up/down direction blades were not moving in unison as they should - see photo.

(The replacement came with the car).

Have to remove quite a bit to basically get to a single screw at the bottom of the Vent assembly! See video - not mine. (Just in case some needs to do the same).

I'm just glad it wasn't as cold here as it was in the video. (This chap has quite a few helpful Videos).

God, we have to wait that long.:)

I'm eyeing the electric heater because I cannot wait..........got decorators in the house (and it is cold and the car is filthy and I'm a soft foreigner who hates the cold etc) - will have to wait a week for that to be done.

Top tip...
Ask your local friendly detailer to do a deluxe valet
Fit your spoiler when he’s doing it in his nice heated workshop
Done!
Ask me where this idea comes from?

That is a good idea - I've been thinking about getting a detail done.

Put a packet of baby wipes in the boot.:geek:

Didn't have to wait long for the bird cr@p to fall on the car.
Baby wipes are great for instant removal.

Can't tell you sonic, as only had the car since August. It was supposed to have new brakes?? However I think they were new in 2009 . The car has done 74,000 now.
