I have more or less decided the P Zero's on the rear of my E63 have to be replaced. Not only are they getting close to 3mm, they are smooth to the touch from the outside face to the centre tread. They are spinning up with just a touch of right foot, so I'm looking for new ones.

Goodyear Asymmetric 3's are my choice despite the 5's being newer, they are rated at 73Db against the 70Db of the 3's. They are both rated C for fuel econmy and A for wet grip.

After the positive review recently of Openeo, I searched for my size 285x30x19 rears and got a price of £156 each delivered

Pneus Online price them at £153 48 each (+£13 each fitting at my tyre place)

Value Tyres based in the UK list them at £198 42 fitted

Black Circles list the AS3's at £201 61 each fitted

MyTyres from Germany have them at £173 40 each + fitting

Camskill are £166 60 + fitting

Finally, Tyreleader from Germany ,who I hesitate to deal with again since I found they sell very old stock come in at £152 69 + fitting.

I think I'm going for Openeo unless anyone has had a bad experience buying tyres from this company.

I’ve only had good experiences with Openeo (and MyTyres)

I’ve used Camskill and Tyreleader without issues , yes Tyreleader do sell older tyres , but they advertise the year when they sell them (in my experience anyway )

^ I've not had any issues with Tyreleader either Wighty, but I don't want 2 or 3 year old tyres just because they are cheapest.

Camskill were more expensive for this size.

I'm going to my tyre fitter tomorrow to see if he can match or get close to the Openeo price. If so, he's got the job. He'll be fitting them anyway.

Found Oponeo to be the best so far.... I’m ‘testing’ them inadvertently at the moment , I ordered the wrong sized rear tyres for the i8 ( not their fault at all) and nobody stocks what I needed to match the brand so I’m seeing what Oponeo suggest ..... might involve 4 tyres but that’s ok....

I've used Openeo the last few times with no issues Roger.

Probably put a hex on your purchase now though......

Nothing forthcoming from them but I’ve solved it now- Oponeo had the rears available now, so I’ve ordered and keeping the fronts , so as suggested 4 tyres now being fitted probably next week. The fronts wouldn’t have lasted past March anyway so no great harm done, just crepe timing!

Take a peak at Costco - I saw assemetric’s at £125 delivered if online, in same 19” spec, good setup for fitting if you visit too, nitrogen spec etc...
I don’t have membership- but I know someone who does!

These are the only ones I can find on Costco and they are £30 a tyre dearer. Plus I'd have a 60 mile round trip to Southampton to have them fitted.

Have you got a link for the ones you found at £125? Can't be my size for that price I need 285x30x19 98Y
