Collision Prevention Assist Plus - Inoperative

Hi again all,
Second post, following the recent purchase of my CLS Shooting Brake, 2015, 2.1. The car has intermittently started putting the above message on the dash upon starting the car. At first I thought this may be due to the amount of dirt and salt on the sensors, so had the car all cleaned up, but the fault is still occasionally there. Seems to go a few days where it is there every time I start it. Then I go a few days without it being there!
Any assistance or pointers are much appreciated.

any dampness in your car in the windscreen sensors area ? try and drive for the next week with ac on full to dry the air up...

Thank you for your reply. No dampness that I am aware of. No moisture on screen, or anything like that. I will do as you say anyway though. Thanks again
