Im Looking for a thermostat for my C207 E350 CDI 170 Kw please. I can only find the full relacement body Genuine for approx £150!! Seems a bit excessive for a thermostat.

Isnt it possible to replace the internals?

It does ... but not uncommon. The ECU controlled motorised valve that acts as a thermostat on EmilysMum's Citroen cost even more.

As above it’s not just a thermostat anymore, there’s electrickery involved in a lot of them now

As above - my 212 needed a replacement thermostat two years ago fitted price (genuine part) at an Indy was £230, the car ran like a pig doing circa 20mpg until it was replaced
