Hello to you all

Hello everyone.
My name is Andy and I live in Cheshire.
I've just bought my first ever Mercedes, an E350 coupe. I actually went looking for a saloon, but this just happened to be in stock, and after driving it, well, you all probably know the feeling.
It's a 2014, with only 30k on the clock. I'm picking it up on Saturday, can't wait.
I've also booked in for a re-map the Saturday after.
As a complete Mercedes newbie, I would vey much appreciate any hints, tips or advice, however trivial you may think it is.

Welcome I had two CLK's great cars but unfortunately the E Class Coupe boot is too small, my wife docent travel light. So I bought a E350CDI, still have it after 8 years very pleased.

Srdl- that's good to hear, I hear a lot about the legendary build quality of these cars, I can't wait to put some miles on it.

John- yes they have some great cars in stock, and they are a friendly bunch. No pressure selling, they left me with the keys alone with the car for as long as I needed, then a great test drive. No complaints so far.

That is one nice looking car buddy , lovely engine the 350 . Welcome to the forum , let us know how you get in with the remap .
I’ve seen DACE a few times on autotrader as well , always present very clean cars

They are telling me a stage 1 remap gives approx +40 hp and + 50 nm. They do a before and after dyno run on the rollers.
It's £325. I'm thinking that's good value.
There must be lots of people on here had it done? I'd be interested to hear any thoughts etc (good or bad)

You are right , loads of people have their cars mapped , just not me (yet? )
