There's an expensive solution to that, one I can't recommend despite repeatedly doing it though

I ‘liked’ this then thought ‘like’ maybe wasn’t quite right!
I also did it once (no kids though thankfully), and probably still paying

getting this sort of real world feedback on cars such as these is invaluable , I regularly read write ups on cars from auto express or what car and they are rarely come to the same conclusion about the same car , so well done to you John for keeping this thread ongoing

edit:- Actually the cheapest one I saw was £41k not actually that bad. However that might be a terrible car..

Looks decent Malc
Essentially same kit as mine, having the optional HK upgrade, HUD and Turbine wheels
The mileage is keeping the price down at 68k ( mine has 24k on a late ‘15), but that hasn’t been a reported issue.
Looks decent, one owner car...

Slight update to my above reply to @MalcQV
My alloys are W Type 470, not Turbine, and if anyone is interested in the i8 linked there may be an issue if warranty is your thing....BMW stipulate 60k miles or under when i renewed in December, no problem with my 2015 at 24k miles of course, but a 2016 at 68k might not attract a BMW warranty at all, or maybe at a premium.....

Service on the other hand...
Due brake fluid service before March so I thought I’d get it done , being just brake fluid I thought I’d try Williams in Liverpool ( after my less than wonderful experience with Halliwell Jones in Chester), so went on line-
All booked ( so I thought)
After having received confirmation email from BMW for fast lane service Friday 7th Feb I thought that was it...
Missed call and voicemail left on my phone to call back
4 calls later hanging on the line with automated ‘ thank you for holding message’, eventually got through-
No sir, sorry we don’t have that date available
Sorry sir you can’t have fast lane unless your car has had a full oil service by us
Oh price quoted was wrong
Oh sorry computer is down can’t give you the actual price...
Suffice FYI say I’m going back to Rybrook Shrewsbury!!

I think it’s a main dealer thing to be honest , some good some bad, Rybrook are very good I’ve found it’s just they’re over an hour from me but I think I’ll stick with them...
