I've a leak into the boot on the LHS just where the storage pocket is. I've removed and cleaned the seal, body and the long plastic covers that fit outside on both sides and given the seal a good spray of silicone. I though that had cured it but after the latest deluge it's back.
I've looked at the boot lid and it does seem to be slightly higher on that side and notice there are two "bump rubbers" fitted to the edge of the boot lid and I'm wondering if they are adjustable or do I need to adjust the hinge to make a tighter fit.

Have you tried the Vaseline around the boot seal to see if there’s an area not sealing?

Could it be getting in from around the rear light?

Must try that before tomorrow as another deluge is forecast, thanks.
Can't see it being at the light as it's too far away and low but will investigate.

Could this have been the problem?
The "bump stop" fitted to the boot lid seemed to be screwed out a bit too far, so just with my hand I screwed the bit with the square in the centre in about a turn and that allowed the boot lid to seal better.
That's been over two weeks and a lot of rain and so far nothing.
Here's hoping. WP_20200118_001.jpg
