Good evening gentlemen,

I drive a 64 plate Actros for work and the rubber inserts from my key fob have gone. Someone tried really hard to wear them to the metal... my question for you knowledgeable people is where do I buy a replacement rubber insert or a key altogether? Excluding dealers.
I looked everywhere and couldn't find anything and the company is not really interested in replacing as long as it's working... but I find it quite irritating having to press it around 30 times every shift.
P.S. Agency drivers done this to it... I was off for 2 weeks... 2 weeks they managed to do this in and I've been using the truck for 3 years...
Any help would be greatly appreciated. 15796405004801271699503174494698.jpg

Mark at RMK might have a spare case or a full replacement key as another option

Bare in mind this is not my truck
Don't know Mark from RMK...
The cheapest possible option ie one that has been run over and still has the rubbers intact:p:)

Hi and welcome. Drawing a blank on key fob shells I'm afraid.

Sorry I should have qualified my reply a bit, mark is the owner of Replacement Mercedes Keys, really nice chap and if he has one that would work might be an option rather than trawling eBay to find a used one with the rubbers intact.

I've seen this too but don't know the website and I didn't think too much about it. I'll give it a try after all if nothing else comes to light.

Its like gumtree so its just a private seller offloading stuff they dont need ..if they have been on their 3 months you should be able to get a deal. Theres a phone app for shpock which is how most peeps use it.
