Yes, but that’s been superseded now. The newer keys disconnect. There will be a new scam though, there always is.

Thank you, all back to normal now, but what I meant was can a key from another car be recoded for yours?

Fitted a new outer case off Ebay, been working perfectly for a month now. Thank you to all who answered.
