C43 was (is going to be) written off today

Was queing at some traffic lights, and an old guy in a Jag that was waiting to join the road from a business park just drive straight into the driver's rear door, I then pulled forwards and he moved in behind me, then rammed into the passenger rear!
I stopped, hazards etc and got out, went straight to a driver behind to get some witness details, as I was doing so this guy over took me and left! The witness pointed this out to me as he was going around my car so I got a pic of him/the reg number at least.
No way it will be repaired, so the alleged 11 c43 estates still on the road is soon to be 10.

Maybe the guy works on the business park if you need to find him.

Report to the police and claim for damage and your obvious injuries for being hit in the side.

Buy it back and repair it, not sure who you could get parts from though...

That's terrible, sorry to read this. Your quick action getting a photo may be important evidence. I assume the witness will also make a statement.

Yes police have been formed and witness said he was happy to give a statement.

If I have the option to buy back I suspect I will, not sure how well fixed it will be though, the side in particular is a serious shunt

Will need a door, and a tailgate possibly. Both rear quarter panels are well within the realms of repair by a skilled panel beater.

If you decide to repair it, I've got a 'mint' 1998 C200 estate with all the good panels you need, as a donor.
It really is as 'rust free' a S202 as I've come across (... and I don't say that lightly).

I was gonna cut out the battery tray area for a member on the other forum, which I wasn't looking forward to doing. But now I'm not.
