@Blobcat this needs moving to the correct section kind sir!
Op- Uniroyal RS3 are well supported on here for good wet weather performance and value for money
I personally use Oponeo, My Tyres and Black circles, others also add Camskills to the shopping around list but you’ll have to find your own tyre fitters in their case...

They will grip well, but will have a short life. If that's not a big issue, then go for it.

There are others that trade off 5% grip for 25%+ in life.

Toyos - had them on my CLK, were ok....
But I've had and can strongly recommend:

Rainsport3/Nexen N-Blue HD+ & 8000/Nokian ZLine & Weatherproof.

As above. Had Toyos on a previous car and they were ok-ish. A bit lacking in the wet compared to what I use now.

Uniroyal Rainsport 3 (replaced by 5 now) are excellent if a little short lived compared to some (but are cheaper than many too).
I've also used Falken FK510 tyres on our SL and they are also very good - especially in the wet. Very quiet too.

Used Toyo's in the past. Got put off by their build quality a few years ago where there were quite a few issues.

Currently using Uniroyal Rainsport 3's as well and they have been good.

I am on Uniroyal Rainsport 5, they are excellent and represent good value, the other tyre I consider is the Falken FK510.

I usually buy from www.camskill.co.uk
