Took my wife 8 miles to the hospital & back in Wolverhampton. 38mpg in stop start traffic in the SLC250d, the old 200K would have struggled to see 30mpg.

I see what you did there :D

Nice place to be though :)

Took mine cross country to “Hope” and back, quite a few gritters out but my winter tyres didn’t have any issues on the most wonderful roads

Nicer place to be :p

I stepped into that one.............
An R230 55K is a very nice place to be, always expecting the “boing” though which is one reason I bought an R171.

The 'boing' is talked up, the 230 is a fabulous ride. And for looks...it's just beautiful.

.
Had rear left and right parking brake cables replaced, and the whole kit renewed (springs, shoes etc)
Might replace the front cable, as I bought the entire set from MB Northampton, later on myself, when it's warm and sunny (if that's at all possible) - the whole centre console has to come out, and I'd rather do it myself ...

Tell me you don't listen for it every time...:(

I could say that "the only weeping is your seals" but I won't as you're crock at the moment and it wouldn't be fair :p

Job interview, I keep getting them, nice place to work. The commute will cost me a fortune in fuel, tyres and brakes though :p;)

Ha ha, I don't even give the 'boing' a thought anymore ;)
It's the seeping seals taking control at the moment :(
Very gracious of you thinking of my health, even if you call me a 'crock'

Looked at it and thought it need to clean it as the only view out of the rear window is where the wiper has cleared and the side windows are not much better!!!!

Thanks for the English lesson, now I'm up to speed
In Kiwi terms, 'crock' untrustworthy or a load of cow 'drops'
'crook' feeling under the weather, bit slow.........Oh darn, I'm describing myself to a T .........Moderator, privacy button please! :(

Just created a little creation to help me pump (with a foot pump) the pistons out of the calipers when I overhaul the E class brake system . One end is a tyre valve , the other is an M10 brake pipe attachment that will screw into the caliper where the flexible rubber brake hose went .

Just put two new brake pedal rubbers on the cars , after someone mentioned it last week , £5 each for some Febi ones from eBay .
Took 5 mins to fit the first one and 1 minute to fit the second :D . Knowledge is a wonderful thing .
After yesterday’s discussions on fuel filler caps not opening I sprayed some lube onto the locking pin that comes out , just in case  .
