CLS W218 light Mod

Hi guys,

Has anyone done the mod where you can have the DRL’s on the AMG model (12 plate) and the led side lights so they’re on at the same time? Can be done and looks great.
Normally if the side lights are on the lower DRL’s switch off.

The pictures there I believe is a different light cluster.
Re having things turned on and off, yes it’s possible with Xentry developer, but it isn’t a simple thing to do

If you're modifying lighting bear in mind the effect it may have on other road users.
DRLs are omnidirectional and put light out in all directions. For that reason they are designed to dim or turn off with headlights and sidelights.
Overly bright DRLs or excessive light from multiple sources can be a nuisance to other drivers.

I thought there could be a way to wire the lower LED’s to the sidelights. Then when the main dipped headlights come on they dim anyway
