image.jpeg My SL350 has two batteries. During this period of lockdown I have a C-Tek battery conditioner connected to the battery in the boot.
My question is do I need to connect another conditioner to the front battery?

Hi and welcome.
You shouldn't need to as there should be no drain on the starter battery. If you want to be sure just use it for the weekly shopping run and take a slightly longer route if it's a short drive.

Unfortunately I cannot do that as all my "toys" are on SORN.

Welcome Howard. I only use the C-Tek on the consumer battery (in the boot). The starter battery doesn't seem to need any help. Ultimately, it depends on the condition of the battery. In any case, you don't need a second charger - just move it between batteries as required.

In that case start it on the drive, run it to normal temperature and shut down once per fortnight.
Also helps circulate oil through the engine preventing oxidation of metal internal parts.

welcome , looks like a nice car- as above ctek on the consumer battery/run and circulate at least and it will be fine, I'd also cycle the vario roof up and down whilst it's running to keep all those bits moving at the same time.

Given the gorgeous weather, your SL is well worth a tax disc. Or maybe you just bought it to gaze at?
