Cordless impact wrench

well, it arrived today, impact wrench, 4ah battery and charger, I also ordered a 13 piece impact socket set, as my ones were, well, a bit old.
charged battery, and tried it on the mini wheel bolts which are done up to 140 nm, on level three, removed them very easily.
I will use it in anger next week when I do shocks on the ML270

Keep some wipes handy,
they muck up fast.

Yep, I have always believed, look after your tools and they will look after you.
Wipe them clean after each use, unless I am in a hurry that is !!!!
I must admit, for the money £177 for gun, battery, charger and sockets, good value.

Did you get the Sealey 13 pc set? These are great value.

well, it could be, it was there own brand, £22, look good, and came in a metal box, not plastic.
Just waiting for some other bits and bobs.
I have to admit, I like buying tools.

I could have sold you 2 sets, AF and metric, both in metal boxes, bought when I had and used a windy wrench on my compressor but no longer used! still have the air spinner for putting nuts/bolts back on before finishing with the torque wrench, as well as the 3/8" air drill and an air chisel with kit of chisels that I could never get the hang of using!

Speaking of socket sets for some reason I am not entirely sure of, maybe big shiny and cheap, I bought a large costco lifetime guaranteed socket set.

Complete with a load of A/F stuff which where it crosses over gets used but mostly not to leave for the car, complete waste of money.

Would have been far better to buy a much smaller more practical set.

AF sockets can be useful to abuse when a bolt gets rounded off. 1/2" hammers over a knackered 13mm quite well.

Some things need to be a decent make , sockets are one of them especially if using powered tools
