New member here!

I’ve tried to search for a thread, but have been unsuccessful! Apologies if this has been covered.

I’ve not got Bluetooth on my car, so just wondered the best way to sort it?

All I’ve got is the aux port which I’m currently using to listen to music.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks,

Neil

Check your arm rest for the telephone connection.
You're likely to have one and then just need the Bluetooth module

Ebay or Comand On Line will get you one (the former less than £100 usually)

Cheers for the reply, Fabes.

I’ve had a look, and it doesn’t look like anything is installed.

Are there any head units I can swap it out for that takes iPhone?

No UHI connector visible there, suggest you have your VIN handy and give comand.co.uk a call, from the VIN they can look up the build sheet for your car to see exactly what it left the factory with and then tell you what is required to achieve what you want to achieve, chances are they can also supply and, if J3M3 is close enough to you (they are about 2 miles from that junction) even fit it for you.

depends how you roll....

there are now a number of aftermarket head units that look the part, that can bring more functionality....

like DAB radio, Navigation, bigger screen, a few here like them. My experience of android replacement head units are of inferior quality (cheap amps) and of limited life, expect anything electronic from china to be doing well if it lasts for 18 months (a more honest time line would be 2 weeks to 3 months).. my brothers two didn't make 9 months each

That no doubt explains why comand.co.uk will only fit the likes of Pioneer and will not even fit a customer supplied Chinese unit!

Did I hear someone say "buy cheap, buy twice"??:rolleyes:

Thanks for everyone taking the time to reply. You’re all ace.

I’m going to get a Bury a Bluetooth kit fitted and see how I go with that.

Thanks again.
