Used it as only an eclass estate can be used, another 10 3.6m x 100mm ceader boards on the roof, 20 bags of sharp sand and 2 bags of cement in the boot

It’s not the most I’ve had it it but was possibly the heaviest load so far, I worked it out at around 675kg plus the lumber

Nothing, I get it back on the 14th and cant wait. I actually washed the hire car yesterday, It was filthy and I can't be dealing with that!!!!

Having the BMW 5 series has confirmed I will get an E or CLS SB next, I like the extra interior room.

I am getting way too used to the toys in the 5 as well, the LED screen dash is amazing, the DAB could use a little work as it does keep dropping out round here.

I will be properly integrating the DAB adapter into mine when i get it back and also finally fixing the COMAND knob

I have gone so long without a traditional handbrake (moving from Jag to Range Rover then SL) I must confess I did a double take at that pic!

Funny how easily you become brainwashed and forget your history.

Perhaps I should form a new group "Handbrakes Matter"!

Apparently the CLS cigar shape is very much subjective, pointed one out to the speed limiter the other day and she went "yuk it's ugly and old looking"! You guys would be proud of me as I bit my lip .
