So to finally get rid of these warped Brembo disks I currently have I decided to check ECP to see what was offered, looking though I’m likely to go for either Pagid or ATE as this is the second set of brembo disks that have warped on me. Also, I haven’t a clue which size I need, ECP seem to be fine in suggesting a few but I’m not sure which I really need, also which would people go for out of the two above

S212 E350 with AMG/sport package, I’ll admit I’m not sure they are fixed but as I’ve not taken anything off yet I actually don’t know

If you'll post the VIN of your car I can give you the part number.

ATE are oem for a lot of MB models ,especially the calipers so are usually quite good quality

It’s a job to warp discs , are you sure a caliper isn’t sticking . Have the discs been checked for runout ?
Can you not measure your discs to find out the size ?

There's alot of factors to consider , could be pistons , brake pad material transfer etc .

Replaced front discs on both for Brembo.

The Merc didn't have 'warped' unknown discs and put Brembo on last year and all good so far.

The VW did have warped Pagid discs with plenty of life left in them as done 20K .
Replaced with Brembo but not done enough miles on them yet due to Covid to draw a conclusion, but back on the road now .

Never had issues with ATE disks, been using them the last 20+ years on BMW, Audi and Mercedes.

I have Pagid pads and disks on the front of my car, never had an issue with them, bought from ECP with a silly discount code

Yep my MOT guy checked them last month and confirmed they are warped, callipers were stripped as part of their refurb and powder coat in feb and I had the warp before that.
I probably should measure the existing but hoped there may have been an easier way

This is the second car and third set of brembo disks I’ve had warp so won’t be having them again.

One thing to consider is the mating face between the disc and the hub. This has to be clean and flat as can be. A calliper dial gauge will cost £30 on eBay and well worthy investment. You can measure the disc before, hub once disc is off and new disc installed.

Other things that have caused major issues: refurbed alloys, or alloys that are buckled/damaged. And also torque setting applied to disc bolt and calliper arm. There are torques for a reason!

I think the disc bolt torque on the 213 is 10Nm which is nothing.

Give MB Grangemouth a call. Forum discounts make disc prices very reasonable.
Did the 210 last year and no complaints since. They don't rust when not used for a while either...

Also measure both sides of the disc! This will give you a good understanding of the DTV

All clean and all perfectly flat, I’d have to check the tourque but I’ve no reason to think they are out since they were fitted, they’ve been fine for two years and around 25k miles,
