Risky I know but yesterday I left my SL on the drive during a rain storm that lasted several hours . The interior of the car is still dry (including the boot), who would have thought it! :D

Usually takes a day or 2 for the water to work its way through to the boot :D

Put the battery on charge. Again.

Obviously the 100+ mile run to Blackpool last weekend wasn't enough for it. It's not been run since though, and probably won't be till next Sunday when, weather permitting, it can have another little run out. :)

Yesterday did a Wighty on the 210 then took it up to Lincoln this afternoon. Running quite nicely again now. The old oil filter was clagged up a surprising amount for only 15k miles. Also seem to have lost the tap tap tap at idle again (noisy lifter).

All good.

My battery is also slowly dropping. If I get 2 runs over 5 miles a week in it's alright, but I'm having to charge every 3 or 4 weeks.

To be fair, this new one's a lot better than the E63s which it's replaced. I used to get messages from that one on practically a daily basis due to the "critical" state of the battery. Proper little drama queen it was...

driven home from hull in the pouring rain
The A63 Westbound is the most beautiful road in Christendom for exactly one reason;)

I nearly took on a new job, slap bang in the middle of Hull. So so glad that I didn’t!
