Aircon topped up today on the drive , it was about 25% down on gas over the last 4 years . Might have to test drive it later as it’s so sticky out there .
Or maybe just sit on the drive for the day and run the aircon

or spend the night in the car with the engine running.

I’ve got them on the CLK rear and the E class fronts and I can’t tell the difference to the Uniroyals/Goodyear’s they replaced . I will be fitting them to the other axles as they wear out as well .
Just as a couple of years ago I bourght the A rated “ wet “Uniroyal Rainsports which were a cheap tyre on a lower brand (which are now too expensive ) I can see Nexens increasing in popularity and price as well ?

The trouble is I have looked at Nexens, Uniroyals and Falkens for my SL but the Goodyears are cheaper!

Perhaps the Goodyears are part worn !! I remember when I was young, we were lucky if we got 5,000 miles out of a set of Goodyear G800's on our Mini's

No Nexens or Uniroyals come up in the size I need.

Been meaning to get mine done as well as it's well over 4 years since the last one but it's still icy cold even in this 38C. Didn't mean to say that, oh well hope the rain arrives soon

With my 1275S I changed the engine more frequently than the tyres.

I fitted new tyres all round two weeks before the crash that wrote my 221 S Class off... It also had a full tank of diesel... It's sat on the drive now with its' 19" Contisport contact 2's tempting me to take them off as spares for the 222...
