I think racing wheels have a valve for filling and a valve for emptying so they blast NO2 in one side and purge the other side until they get as much as possible in.

Great result yesterday. :D
It was......with only Ricciardo spoiling Hamiltons grand slam on the last lap.
It was a pity because grand slams dont come around very often...but I dont grudge Ricciardo getting it because it must have taken a serious effort!
It goes from bad to worse for Ferrari though. :D

Agreed about Ricciardo. Must have been a real do or die lap! Nice to see things panning out for him as one of the characters of F1.
Ferrari were extremely disappointing. They've really gone from leaders to tail enders over the lockdowns. This year is almost certainly going to be another championship for Mercedes and Hamilton - can't really see any team capable of spoiling that.

Yes at 35yrs Hamilton is in his prime an absolute joy to watch. Very impressed with his concentration nothing seems to phase him or distract him he truly is operating above the rest. He can only be truly be compared and assessed by comparison with his team mate and he was 0.5s a lap quicker which is an ocean in GP terms

Well what a race. Gasly drove brilliantly, Sainz showed his class. Stroll proved his race craft with some excellent overtakes.

Bottas was rubbish, Hamilton should have stayed in the car and not gone up to the stewards whinging, Interesting they decided Giovanizzi penalty faster even though he did it after Ham!!!!!!!

It's true what the Hamilton haters say - "it's all because of the car"....so that's why when Hamilton was dead last Bottas took full advantage and won the race. Oh no....wait....that's not what happened at all.
Haters just gonna hate! :p

Seriously good race that one, despite the cynic in me thinking the safety car was deliberately orchestrated when VSC should have been all that was required.
Thoroughly deserved maiden win for Gasly.
I am having to change my previous opinion of Lance Stroll, because he definitely appears to have woken up this season. :)

NO, if the barriers are damaged and need re-building then they have to throw a full SC

NO, you are talking about a completely separate incident which happened later.

I'm inclined to agree - Magnussens car could easily have been handled under a VSC, and to be honest, not knocking the work they do, but if the marshals had bothered to move their coffee table, they could have just pushed his car back behind the Armco and kept the pit lane completely clear.
