Gets more money out of them for the car sale then the release fee from the boot  . Anyone fancy a car purchase :)
Thanks Wighty, I'll pass on that for the moment at least until I find out if I'm the only buyer and the aircon works in the boot.

Just finished a gearbox fluid change on the ML-320.

Oil leak noted at MOT, the sump pan itself was leaking. A first for me. I change the trans fluid like clockwork every 37k on these 7g boxes, never seen a sump pan rot through though. Must be all that good sea air we have.

Had MrsLK drive me to the doctor today. Somehow I've picked up an infection which has seen my temperature hit 39.7 °C. Very uncomfortable and feel totally drained. Really appreciated the super cold Aircon in the bus - new compressor last year and a full regas makes it work like a charm. Temps here have been 36+ all week. We've decided we need Aircon in the house....

Cheers Wighty.

First time I have used one of those digital torque gauges with my 1/4” torque wrench- worked very well indeed and the buzzer went off just as I felt the little click form the wrench at 4Nm. No matter how many times I do the change I am always a bit anxious about stripping the threads in the gearbox.

You’re probably the reason cars sold in the US of A have glow in the dark release handles in the boot...;)

Will you get tested automatically for Covid 19? Probably just the relentless heat. Hope you recover quickly.

No Covid test. Full examination and the doctor decided it wasn't Covid related. Its a UTI. Damned uncomfortable.

Not just you who’s decided that..! When you’re perked up I can share some pricing with you.

Sorry to hear you’re suffering. Best wishes for a quick and full recovery my friend.

Be thankful you're not in Pakistan, wife got one of those in Karachi in 1975 and her description of the tests and treatment bring tears to the eyes - and not those of amusement either!!

Hope is all sorted quickly and painlessly LK!!
