I have the same bank account that I opened as a 16 year old and that was a few years ago !!
I finally lost my rag when I had a long term project in Holland. Two of my workmates had already found that switching from a UK "bank" to Nationwide Building Society was a no-brainer with none of the ridiculous charges for drawing my own money from a cash slot over there. I've stayed with them ever since and I didn't close my Natwest account - it's still sitting there with a couple of hundred quid in it just for emergencies and I get the feeling it costs them money now so they are fairly desperate for me to close the account (yeah, up yours Natwest)!

That's the Bank I have been with since I was a lad. In those days it was called National Provincial :)

It’s the National Provincial, it’s today’s society, with more strength to help more people own more homes. (Or something close to that IIRC) :p

Mate of mine has just chopped in his Boxster Spyder and Golf R for a Tesla Model 3. I'm looking forward to a wee drive in it....

Do you think a Tesla will give you bladder problems?
More seriously a write up of the experience would be very interesting.

(Natwest must be one of the most incompetent companies ever. When my dad died he had £230 in a NW account. For some reason they didn't fancy handing it over. It eventually cost them £1500 to cover the matter up. Wouldn't have touched them with a barge pole.)

Back on topic I've been watching Vintage Voltage recently. Amazing why owners want to butcher nice cars - each to their own, but I did grimace a bit when they started cutting up that Ferrari. I suspect that the cost of conversion will be eyewatering.

Been with them over 50 years Peter and as far as I can remember I've never had an issue with them

Yep it's strange how some can have a great experience with a company (or indeed a car) and others have nothing but problems. I had another couple of issues with Nat West so steer well away from them.
