disable stop start ?

Hi...... is it possible to disable the stop/start on a 2012 e250 without putting a warning on the dash ? Only asking because i dont like having to press the button all the time when i use the car. I know its a small thing to do but it would be nice to just disable it and forget its there. I understand why its there and its function but i would rather get rid if possible.

Because it's an early version it's easier , remove the 7.5A fuse on top of the auxiliary battery first to test .

I ran like this for several months at first then recently totally removed the auxiliary battery.

Great i will pull the fuse in the morning and see what happens. I was going to try that months back but when i was reading other MB forums they all said it would put the warning on the dash so i didnt bother doing it.

It worked on my 2015 c250 but not on my 2017 e350.

Just been out to the car and tried it......... It put a fault on the dash screen saying Aux battery fault so i need a plan B lol

Tbh its not a big thing pushing the button but most other manufactures at least give you the option to turn it off just pressing the button once and then its off until you decide to use it again.
