Hi Does anyone know what exactly a (Diesel software update) is and why I got it on my last service on my 2014 E250

Not sure how old the battery is but it is a genuine Mercedes battery so I guess it's original. I done a voltage test and car running gave me 14.7v, then gave car of gave me 12.6v. I then let car sit for 24 hours and tested again and got 12.9v.

Hi Thanks for the info. My car is slightly different to this my main battery is under the bonnet and the auxiliary battery is in the boot beside the spare wheel well. I am unsure if the procedure would be the same. If I disconnect both batteries at the same time will I loose any settings or codes
