    I can find 229.5 but at a price. I can find 229.3 at a low price but not one that's on MB's approved list. As y'all say 229.51 Genuine MB is available at a good price for 20 lt; will it be as good as 229.5 for my 2005 V6 petrol CLK? And what's DPF, Darned Pretty Fast?

    I see for my CLK 350 MB lists engine oil 229.5 or 229.3. Can anybody throw light on the difference? I see most posts mention only 229.5.

    Further notes on the above: I bought the car 2 weeks ago and all was fine until the last 3 or 4 days. I now find the battery flattened to about 7.7 V having been unused for a day or so. I've found a 'car switched off' drain of some 0.25A. Too much by my reckoning. Have not yet found the reason...
