No the fan hasn’t seized, it was blinking lovely and warm in it yesterday, then typically the other half drives it and inevitably something breaks as per. It does have a habit of blowing the heater fuse but not normally so quickly
Hi chaps. I am absolutely crap with auto electrics, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
The heater blower fuse on my 1994 s124 e220 keeps blowing. The plastic bit actually melts on the bottom where it seats into the connection. It’s not just the fusible link blowing.

the s124 has failed mot on the exhaust back box so that’s priority as it’s the missus every day car

Hiya just wondered if anybody has had similar experience to what I have had with the 124 handbrake/e brake.
last year I meticulously rebuilt the hand brake because it was non existent when I bought the car. I set it up correctly and it worked great for about 6 months.

my pads were getting low on my s124 so I ended up changing the discs and pads on all four corners, also rebuilt the hand brake set up. The braking has not improved at all and the pedal still has a lot of travel. I have not touched the hydraulics at all.

Ordered a replacement hand primer pump and it did not come supplied with a washer, I improvised and used a larger one above the original one.

Does any one know the size of the copper washer/crush washer that are used on the hand primer and for the in and out valves on the lift pump please?
