2003 mate e320cdi,have a mot till june ,then should I throw money at it for repair or just scrap it ?

Just had my car back from really good indy ,as suspected so much corrosion. Such a shame as car is mint and mechanically sound

Will do that yeah , only reset if indie thinks appropriate,but hey could run for years yet before reset or complete change of pump.Not really concerned about problems with car now at least I've sourced a good Mercedes indie shop there like gold dust

Break light switch ,£10 so happy with that. Found a really good Mercedes indie he has diagnostics to reset sbc if it reaches its limit so no worries.

Will do mate ,going to a good garage on friday and if sbc pump needs renewed will just have to get it done ,great cars these mercs want to keep it on the road

Fair enough mate ,car is running smoothly,pulls like a train and only 89k on a 2003 .Will keep an eye on it and any sign of trouble will change all injectors and seals

Had a look at injectors ,nice and clean no black death lol

I know mate thanks read a lot about it and overdosed on youtube ,the has a full service history and engine bay no discolouration on cover which is good sign so think should be fine .Will check visually when pick up car .

Will engine management light come on if you have injector problem
