I did but still no further forward on the answer I appreciate not everyone would know what is missing and just hoping someone would know the answer before being held at the mercy of a garage with someone going 'Oooooooh!!!!!' :)
Matt no the car is not my actual vehicle, the part I am looking for would be the part from the wheel arch to the ecu which is completely missing so currently no wheel sensor on at the moment hence no abs or run flat indicator if that helps? So I need to know what to search for as a replacement...
Very well spotted, however we are talking about the missing link/cable to I assume somewhere in engine bay/ fuse box or where ever it might hide away ;)
Not sure how to describe this..................I assume there is a cable from engine compartment that drops down through the inner wheel arch to attach the speed/wear sensor cable to? This has been removed as the previous owner couldn't be a**ed to fix discs and pads!! So I need to know what...
I am trying to find rear shock absorbers for my CLK with the AMG sport pack but all the usual sites do not seem to list suitable parts or are a bit sketchy as to whether they fit!! Anyone have any idea of the best place without having to take out another mortgage :(
Hi
My near side brake light has stopped working so I replaced the bulb but no joy!! I appreciate it won't be a fuse but not sure where to start diagnosing
On my CLK it has a grill for the washers on the bonnet, I have a probably blocked nozzle on one side, I have removed the 3 hex type screws but not sure what else needs to be done as I am sure there must be some sort of clips holding it in place but don't want to force it in case I break them...
I know the abs sensor is also the speed sensor which is why I am getting the code, and from what you have said the module for the near side front wheel has been removed and then the system reset, but I also think where you would normally plug the sensor in has also been stripped out as there is...
yes i do understand that but I think the previous owner took sensor out due to the poor condition of the discs and pads, so what I need to know is how to put it back in, it looks like the link form the sensor cable to the module has been removed as well
