Booked in locally for ABC Service and rodeo. After running it for 10 mins the front drivers side suddenly popped back up. I think it might be my bad as I hadn’t moved her for a few weeks.
I kind of figured one corner would go! Front drivers side is low to the ground....
So what’s next guys? Is it safe to drive this thing to the garage?
cheers

Thanks in advance

Hello all
I was looking in my boot (R230 SL 500 2002), and saw this clearly rusted pneumatic cylinder... does anyone know what it’s for?
it’s directly behind the auxiliary battery adjacent to the rear light.
Swapped out centre armrest module with broken latch for a new (to me) one from the states. The old one which is cosmetically near perfect is on ebay and the spare parts forum if anyone is interested.
Have you got any tips for removing lower front grille? People (and mercedes are saying put a screwdriver in the access holes.. I just can’t figure out how to release it?
Ok it’s beaten me!!
how do I get it off? I’ve put screw driver in access sockets until it became futile.... does anyone have any advice or experience of this please
Rich
Ha.. the good deed that won’t go away ..... don’t suppose you can remember how many do you.. as I can buy 5 or 10? And I promise that’s the last question
