I found discs to be a bit of a pain to remove over the years. Bought a laser disc puller and never had a problem since. It is the retaining screws that remain troublesome.
Had the same, contacted HQ and old them I did the check in 22 but they are adamant that the recall affects me and it now looks like a replacement booster.
