I found discs to be a bit of a pain to remove over the years. Bought a laser disc puller and never had a problem since. It is the retaining screws that remain troublesome.

Had the same, contacted HQ and old them I did the check in 22 but they are adamant that the recall affects me and it now looks like a replacement booster.

I moved the SAM on my ML420, there is enough give in the wiring to have it sit vertically rather than horizontal.

CLS is no more, I have traded it for a 2017 X6 as SWMBO kept banging her head on the roof when getting in. I still have the W164 so will stick around.

Are they new SAMs and did you get them coded to the car on STAR??

Discs and pads on the ML. It would be nice not to have to drill out the disc retaining bolts for a change though.

I am now checking all of our vehicles weekly. I’m sure this will change when winter comes along with the long cold nights.

We had a leak half way along passengers side and this was allowing air in with our old W163. A short section spliced in sorted it.

Can it not be refurbished??
