Question is if when pumping up the seats the pump should run once the air falls below a certain level or whether once it initially runs the air shouldn't run out even when inflating. :(
I agree with your opinion, this images on the following link seems to show the pipes are also different to my setup....it's all very confusing!

I'm still getting the code 9250 for air leak but cannot see where or why. The system is holding pressure initially but as you use the buttons on the seats to inflate them the air starts to drop in the pump pressure reading but the pump doesn't seem to switch itself on again to replace/replenish...
After more investigating it seems that this pipe is the feed pipe for the pump, still seems weird it pulls its air from a pipe that vents in the interior trunking!
Had a dynamic seat issue and various codes on STAR for leaking air on an early W211. Found a leaking bladder which I've removed and blanked the pipe for now looking for any further issues. Could still hear hissing noises coming from a trunking area so removed interior trim to get to it and have...
Gone through similar issue, a easyish way to test your ABS rings is to swap the hubs over from side to side (not as difficult as it might first sound) then see if the fault follows it to the other side or stays. Also gives you a good chance to clean up any debris you might have on them and the...
What year is yours? if you need it repairing I'd recommend AC Tronics, excellent friendly service at a very reasonable price. Same can't be said of BBA Remanufacturers of late sadly.
Sorry for slow response, been busy trying to sort it and I think I've hopefully cracked it. I've replaced the module with a second hand unit and have not coded it. I've then continued testing and I think I've narrowed it down to a module issue and seemingly a faulty ABS ring on the one hub which...
Swapped the sensors right to left and still not speed rating from the left and still the code for the right side. I'm thinking the module has an issue. If I find an ABS/ESP pump with the same part number will it require coding with STAR? If so will this be possible with my 2014 version?
If it's the car I'm talking about the issue was caused after an exhaust bracket was welded with the battery still on the car causing these issues. If you purchased the car within the last few months it sounds likely to be the same vehicle. That would rule out the airbag's being at fault and...
