    5 years ownership.

I knew I shouldn't have posted that....driving to the RAF museum at Hendon today the engine management light came on. Two good points,it was the amber light so hopefully not too serious & secondly they didn't try to keep me in as an exhibit:). Booked into Wayne Gates next week.

When we went to live in the IoM in 1997(I worked for Manx Airlines) after finding out I was a lapsed biker my shiftmates kept egging me on to get another bike. Its mandatory they would say. I was scanning MCN classifieds every week until it began to dawn on me that it does rain rather a lot in...

My licence runs out on 5 May so got a letter last week saying apply for a new one.Received it today & it runs out on 15 Aug,the day before I'm 70. What I don't understand is why they didn't make the expiry of my last one 15 Aug?

Passed it's MOT yesterday & the ac seems to be ok after its first regas for years. Just like my mum they don't make 'em like...

Any motorcyclists on here as well?

I had a Meriden Bonneville in 1983 & it seemed to handle OK except when you got to around 70mph it tried to vibrate itself to bits. That & the habit of conking out for no apparent reason were it's main drawbacks.I sorted the conking out by replacing the twin coils after getting some advice from a...
