Select D gear engages, after pulling away the are two quite fierce gear changes with quite a thud within a few seconds of each other. The car then fails to gain speed as would normally be expected. Whilst moving if I move from D to 3 the car will...
Hi could anyone confirm I can replace my diesel tank with a a tank from a petrol car and which of the 3 small outlet inlets needs to be blanked off?
Many thanks
My trusty old 300TD 1992 has just been for MOT and has excessive play in steering box.
The play is in Pitman arm. If you grab and wiggle the arm there is a fair bit of play there in all directions. The arm is tight on shaft so is not a spline issue.
Is this adjustable or is it recon box time...
** Anyone who needs to do rear bearings on 124 or similar message me, the tool is here to be used!
Matthew...I have only had good experiences with Febi too and yes the bang was very satisfying! :)

Thank you for your kind words.

HI
My trusty old S124 has a noisy OSR wheel bearing in need of replacement.
I usually do my own jobs, but my health has restricted what I can do now.
Can anyone recommend a place or even a keen DIYer that can do this job?
Many thanks

The one I am looking to buy looks the same, is the same 6.5J 15 but the part number is

Kind Regards
