It wouldn’t explain Comand crashing so I don’t think this is your problem - but I have lost all audio on my 2018 E Class a few times. I sometimes have my iPhone in my shirt pocket and all the multimedia goes off, it’s because my phone opened Siri and so Comand closes all output as it’s waiting...

Just to say you made the right decision. I had a 11 plate XF 3.0 from new. Had to get rid within a year (at great cost !) due to major faults. Really regretted buying it and the service at Jaguar Ipswich was abysmal.

Done some research and it seems DVD or Video in Motion can be used on Comand up to about 2016 in the E Class, when the W213 came in. Unfortunately, version 5.5 also prevents speed cameras being loaded !

Strange thing is that an E Class SE has leather but an AMG (style) which is almost £ 3k more has Artico.
