I'd be fitting either genuine MB ot Varta, I believe that Varta manufacture for MB as OEM anyway.
Avoid Yuassa, had one on my Ford Connect van fail after 3 months and the replacement Yuassa doesn't have a particularly fast crank either!

You could have a point there, I was watching a You Tube video or two yesterday and that seemed to be the consensus of opinion there too.
Just surprised there is no codes registered!
Cheers Dave

Just checked mine and it has been done, haven't noticed any difference to be honest.
I'm more concerned about the Airbag issue that it has thrown up!
On it tomorrow!
Hi All,
I've had a brief look around the forum before I posted, but, here goes.
I have a C350 Cdi 2013, occasionally after starting and pulling away and usually at about 10 mph, I get a kind of brief power loss, steering goes stiff, ABS light pops on as does a message on the dash, I cannot...
A little over 10 years ago I started this thread with a post and it's great to see that it is still regularly in use and hopefully making a difference.
I nicked the idea from another forum that I am still using, this has equally been a busy set of threads.
Here's to another 10 years...
I had an Aux battery go down on my old W205 while under it's first year of approved used warranty, that was changed FOC.. :)
I soon got rid of that car, lots going wrong in one way or another, so I got me my W204!
My C350 W204 2013 has the small battery in the front under the air box and the big heavy "Expensive" one in the boot /trunk.. Seems that there are many options!
I have a 2013 C Class with an NTG 4.5 DAB, usually no problems at all when in the Midlands, however we're in the Uxbridge area of North West London and guess what? We're getting the "Device Unavailable" message and Radio 2 is cutting out, I did a reset on the system, Radio 2 isn't even coming...
Hi All..
Very likely already covered somewhere on here, but as it's that time of the year when we get round to spring cleaning I'm just wondering what the guys and gals are using on their Merc's?

I find that the Mercedes Benz "Bird Lime Remover" from the Stargard kit is very handy to keep in the boot for these eventualities while out or away from home.. is it me or does bird 5hite set like concrete lately?

Hi All,
Just to let you know of a great place to get your 4 wheel alignment done in Newcastle Staffordshire.
They are a Jaguar Indi with some ex MB staff, a very professional outfit and not extortionate with hourly rates either. They have the Hunter machine on site and know how to use it...
I've copied this idea from another forum that I use (A Ford Transit Forum) of all things!
I quite look forward to getting the e-mail notifiers that someone has posted something... De-badged their van, polished it, new wheels maybe... even a new air freshener....
Just a bit of fun...
