Just been watching an old TG the one with the Koenigsegg CCX from back in 2006.(and yes there is one for sale currently at £1.9m)
The Koenigsegg hit 60 in 3.8 seconds, not too shabby now let alone in 2006....but today my neighbour bought a Kia EV6 and was telling me the GT model could hit 60 in...
"Hard to believe a year and a month have passed"...
Oh god yes I read it as 15 Jan 2024...actually 23!...thanks for the update anyway glad you are still enjoying the car.
Toying with the idea of selling my Z3 and going SLK55.
One regular would turn up every day (it amazed me how some punters made the casino a part of their life) in an aging 560SEC, he chained smoked cigars so the windows were all a weird colour, anyway yes in the wet going around a bend a dab too much throttle and that back end was away!
Was a car jockey at a few casinos when I was a student...always loved the quality of a Mercedes....though it was also the first car I ever had to park, on an incline and couldn't find the handbrake, older one, D shape thing that pulled out of the dash I seem to remember?
Plugged in the icarsoft mb v2 but no fault codes found, did navigate down to a DPF icon but just got the following image, I think I was hoping to get some current status as to how much soot/dust/ash etc were being stored.

A new drive to work involves a 50 mile cross country hack on some pretty pock marked B roads.
Am considering a 2016 GLC250d.
I see the GLC comes in an array of wheel sizes from 17 - 21"...I'm certainly not considering the 20 or 21" option but have to admit the 19's look better than the 17's...
Anyone driven one of these? I am starting to see quite a few of the facelift models on Autotrader at good sub £10k prices.
Am looking for a 100k+ one or two owner max from new ideally with full BMW SH...
Currently have 17" Ankka alloys.
As we still have Jan and Feb to get through and my brand new Kumhos don't like snow and ice am going to take the plunge and buy a set of winter wheels.
