Will the belt snapping cause any engine damage ? It shredded at tick over speed. Is one of the pulleys that twists to tension the belt ?

I realise that I am visiting a very old thread here but are there any sellers out there that do sell an original 722.6 conductor plate? I have seen quite a few made by companies such as Febi-Bilstein, FYI whom seem to be manufacturers of quality parts & I am wondering if any of those companies...

I read a post somewhere on here where somebody posting something about a company selling original 722.6 conductor plates but the original Merc logo was scratched off but they were original conductor plates. Anybody remember this or can point me to it please?

It has had a new gearbox filter along with new atf fluid less than 100 miles ago which was done to see if that was the problem, drove it this morning for around 3 miles & it was sweet as a nut changing gear lovely !
