We went to one of those parties once. I swapped the wife for a Ford Focus.

Saw my pal last night. He had an Evoke from new for 3 years and not a thing went wrong with it! He swapped it for a Macan GTS though :shock:

Not a thing wrong with the GLA but an Evoke caught my eye. Though it is really the wifes car, I think the time may have come to go for a more "traditional" SUV. I while ago a friend had one and I recall the cabin being a very nice place to be. Any thoughts on Evokes? I would go for a 66...

Is there a formula somewhere for working out if keeping an old "dirty" diesel is better or worse for the environment than having a new car built for you and then running that? My uneducated guess would be that the building of a new car must pollute the atmosphere considerably.
