Completely forgot... did my 535 mile seasonal commute last Saturday night/Sunday morning - 32.3 mpg across the trip. Happy enough with that, with a well-loaded boot, and a bit of cheekery here & there on the better stretches!

Yup. Had the wheels off to give them a proper spruce & protect... they're... sizable! May flog these once I'm home, they seem to be worth a bit, then get some Bola 19" CS-look-a-likes.

I've just binned the Pilot Supersports off the rear of mine. I'm sure they're good when it's properly warm (and preferably dry) but fairly cack when it's not properly warm. Looked at Pilot Sport 4 & 5 but really silly money.

Condition of tyres (including pressures) along with how abruptly you hit the accelerator, are probably biggest contributors. (Road conditions, obviously, play their part). I could floor (albeit briefly, in the dry) the pedal in my old C63 if i did it progressively. If I just stamped on it, then...

Hello. Sorry to hear you've issues. Not sure turbo issues would cause the electrical gremlins! Car does need to go to a decent MB specialist - what area are you in? There are some very good independent specialists on here, hopefully you can get the car recovered to one of them for diagnostics...
