The back of the hood does not locate into the hole and the 2 handles on the windscreen are not wanting to snap shut, probably because the rear is not located. Don't have a manual for a convertible W124 so how to fix this??

Hood was taken out to get new shocks installed. Now it wont catch shut at rear (stands about 2.5cm clear of bodywork), and the 2 release catches on front widow refuse to move, really scared to yank hard on them.

According to videos on youtube, all the windows drop down first when you activate the retract button, mine does not. All else functions, is it part of the module 124 820 45 26? They are not avalable any more but they can be refurbished.
