Yes, all highway driving 50 mph to 75 mph, I think the average ended up being around 65 mph. However being the USA I was running hours uninterrupted at higher speeds. But getting to north Georgia and Tennessee there was some light mountain driving.
High at one point was 42+ mpg. Kept looking...
I drove the GLK to Tennessee yesterday, 500 miles and averaged 39.1 mpg. That's with my wife and I both driving, me typically with the cruise set at around 73 mph and my wife driving without cruise 65-75 mph. So I can't complain about the mileage and the power was good on for highway driving and...
Good Day Gazwould, I just started a new thread on it to get some insight, so thanks for your reply.
So help me understand what you're saying. The torque is later but power is very early - forgive my ignorance so is that an indication that the remap has been done incorrectly? I can't make heads...
I live in the US and have a 2014 GLK 250 that I recently did a DPF/EGR/SCR and Adblue delete on. I sent the ECU to Canada to have the remapping done while I was putting a BuzzKen delete pipe on in my shop. The delete pipe leaves the 1st CAT behind the turbo and runs back to a pair of "Megan...
I'm sure, but the m119's not a diesel is it?
But our 4 bangers are over achievers @ 2600 RPM in torque department when compared to yours. And oh yea, we have more compression than you :)
But we might be able to compete with you pulling someone out of the bog - I once pulled a full size pickup...
Gazwould, you got me thinking about where the car is shifting and because all I can do being out of the country is research I came across something I didn't realize. I have never reset the adaptive shifting in the 2 years that I have owned the car, in fact I didn't even know that I could. I...
I just set up the dyno appointment for July 23rd at 10 AM Eastern Time US. I'll be sure to keep you posted and include the graph of the runs. When I get the shift point from my wife I'll post that as well.
I'm not sure what you mean by Eco or Comfort mode. Are you referring to whether I'm using the paddle shifters or not? If so are you asking about shift points in Eco mode since the remap ... which is actually a great question, I haven't thought of checking that. I just assumed it would be...
Gazwould thanks for the link and Tim thanks for going to the trouble to look.
I put a Buzzken delete pipe on the car that eliminated everything from the CAT back and I have a pair of Megan Racing muffler at the rear of the system. The theory is the CATs don't soot up like the DPF does and...
Gazwould,
You mention "stock graphs," I have a 2014 GLK 250 that I recently did a DPF delete and remap on. I've got a question about the torque after the remap in the 1200-1800 RPM range. I made the mistake of not doing a dyno run before the remap and I'm going to have it on a dyno next...
