I am not sure if my steering pump or rack is causing it to be heavy to turn.
Car is w210 e270
When I turn lock to lock during idle, the rpm drop/ surge a little, during touching the maximize turn limit.
Any suggestions besides try to change whole steering system?

Car is w210 E270 cdi, I found the turbo return oil pipe attached to the upper sump is having minor leaks
Probably few days per week or so
Looking from outside, look like some white packing is there
What is the part required for renewing the packing?
The sound has fully gone, I suspect it was the radiator fan carbon bush spinning sound
Or 2nd possible is the alternator clutch pulley as now I had found it's seized /became fixed pulley , no more one direction rotation
Originally came with water cooled/heated alternator
Is it possible to blank the cooling line and/or retrofit with other model alternator ? Without too much complications
Reason is very hard to source for original replacement.

The vac pump can be rebuild? How much it cost to rebuild/purchase new ones.
Is it common to have vac pump failed? How long can I rely on this car now? Can it be stranded half way?
The sound is more noticeable in the last video when the engine is fully warmed.

The car has put the egr shunt, so the left hand side vaccum pump is disconnected.
The catalytic converter after turbocharger exit and near to muffler also taken out.
While plugged into star diagnostic system. It detects low boost pressure...
