look at live data on one of them code readers and see what your temp sensor is displaying at cold. Theres possibly one sensor on the radiator itself that controls the fan which might be faulty
Not familiar with units but by any chance he didn't drop the key or it came apart? Transponder inside it damaged or lost? i thought even with a fault wit key it should at least put ignition lights on. Possibly the switch itself that the key goes into or a fuse for it? It was Thursday past so id...
Not sure about the sprinter but on mine the two back cables were different lengths for leach side Den. Really dont think it should matter as they both send the same signal to the ABS unit. Find it strange both sets of new ones didn't work at some point. Yes you need to drive it after...
I just got genuine as ive heard so many times on here of aftermarket playing haywire with the ABS. I cant remember which is the go to brand ATM for Merc genuine sensors? as its a year since I fitted mine. What brand was your aftermarket one ajlsl600?
Not that i know of Den, normally same plugs but looms might be different lengths to suit each side. Get genuine Merc ones to rule out its them, I remember mine were 40 something quid about a year ago for the rear ones so probably not much more expensive than motor factors best brands . you'll...
Did you buy genuine ABS sensors from Mercedes Den? They dont like aftermarket sensors.
I have a Vito and had to change the rear bearings in mine. I fitted genuine sensors and had no bother since
More curious where the black pipe goes too? is it an air breather for the tank? That looks like a non return valve on the pipe. Wouldnt be suprised it was to take diesel fumes from the tank and filter them out through the exhaust.
looks like that clip on the boost pipe is broke or came apart from photo 2. Also damage to that steel crossmember or subframe that also looks to have broke that clip at least and possibly damaged pipe or intercooler plastic. wonder if it was trolley jack damage or off road damage? Looks like you...
I had that same symptom when my injectors were on their way out from memory, kept jumping between 1 and 3 for some reason showing running faults. Think 3 eventually totally failed and van broke down. After a set of injectors it never looked behind it.
Good point to make M80 as Grendons issue is ether electrical or mechanical. Never would have twigged brake pressure could affect the running of engine unless you inadvertantly disturbed damaged or frayed wiring to the CPS sensor while working on the brake pipes?
Good call Vito man, most likely culprit to check first. I Just took it there was no codes or checked for them if Grendon was had software capable of switching on and off the injectors and no mention of trouble codes in his post
Missed that light switch photo, my light switch has the parking light option left and right of the dial. Strange yours doesn't? Think my parking lamps are part of the W21W bulbs on mine, need to check again to refresh my memory or possibly a smaller separate 501 bulb.
I stuck in a bulb to replace a daytime running lights on my Vito as one was blown. I know the bulb was faulty or parking light filament is broke as i keep getting error messages. I would fit a new bulb to any side thats throwing faults and ditch the led bulbs as canbus doesn't like them, even...
