    w245 CDI euro5 won't start

Thank you. I'll wait for a MB dealer response about the diagnosis. One thing I don't get clearly: if an injector leaks, shouldn't I get an error for low pressure? Thanks

    w245 CDI euro5 won't start

Edit: I replaced the crankshaft (CPS) sensor. It started fine for a few days, than the problem is back. Today I found the codes: 11C300 - The upper limit value of component B4/6 rail pressure sensor has been exceeded 140800 - The oxygen concentration in partial load operation is implausible...

    w245 CDI euro5 won't start

After 3 years a similar problem is back. I didn't replace anything in 2021. It came back to working fine. Now, days ago I had an event of cranking but not firing with warm engine. It started at 3rd attempt. Now same story. No trouble codes. Car starts but not at first key turn, it requires a...

    Belt squeak under load

Thank you. Not tried yet, on that car this requires removing the undercover panels etc. I think I'll ask to a mechanic, hoping at the dealer they recognize the noise instantly. I'll keep the topic posted

    Belt squeak under load

Should I find grease leaking? Could it explain the noise from the air vents region while steering to the left? Thank you

    Belt squeak under load

I only tried with car idling still. If I turn the steering it doesn't make noise. But if I use automatic parking for example it makes noise (parking at low velocity) . Is there some kind of pump inside the steering column that could make noise? Anyway I'll have to make more experiments to...

    Belt squeak under load

Power steering is electrical, but thanks :)

    Belt squeak under load

It was a INA part. Equivalent to MB genuine part I think. But the strange thing is that the noise is there only when steering left. And it seems coming from the vents, not from the belt. Thank you

    Belt squeak under load

I noticed something. The noise is like a hissing noise, like someone taking the last breath or trying to breath with asthma. I think it's low AC refrigerant. - But why it appears only when turning the steering wheel to the left? It's systematic. I turn left and it appears. - Car has 12 years...

    Belt squeak under load

Thank you! Probably we're talking of the same noise. At idle, from the cabin is barely perceptible, it's a light squeak. I still have the doubt of the harmonic damper not properly seated, but honestly I don't know how it could be possible. When noise gets worse I'll let you know if I solve it...

    Belt squeak under load

No but I'll buy one, thank you. At 100k miles I'm asking myself if it's wiser to replace the entire alternator

    Belt squeak under load

This was the noise of the freewheel: https://www.asuswebstorage.com/navigate/a/#/s/05578F8BA2774E6A994AFDA620AFFF974

    Belt squeak under load

Exactly. 3 months ago when I did the job I checked it by hand. The freewheel was noisy, but not stuck. It was noisy only stopping the pulley by hand. Probably if it makes more resistance than designed, the belt slips? Thank you :)

    Belt squeak under load

Hi, the car has electric power steering. So it's only an electrical current drain from the alternator. The belt is brand new, so it can't be loose. Thanks

    Belt squeak under load

Hi, not for now. I should lift the car and do the job. The problem is that it does the noise only when turning the steering wheel and with headlights on, at idle or going straight is almost imperceptible, if not present. I think it's 100% from the belt, but I don't know what's the issue

    Belt squeak under load

Hi everyone :) I recently did an enormous job on my w245 B-class CDI. I replaced pulleys, tensioner, belt, harmonic damper, etc. Now I noticed that in long curves while keeping the steering wheel turned (it's electrical and it happens especially to the left but I don't know why) I hear a...

    Alignment after lowering subframe

I asked them because you told this, so I had a doubt about the job I did. So in the end, on B-classes rack is not adjustable. Thanks again :)

    Alignment after lowering subframe

Hi, I went to the alignment garage but they told me the rack bolts are not adjustable, so it's one position only . I'll have to check on WIS for w245 B-classes

    Alignment after lowering subframe

I think that on w245 and w169 also the upper strut hole is larger than the bolt, requiring alignment
