After two Journeys completed on the AA tow truck I won't risk driving my 220 CDi auto.
Does anybody know a mobile Mercedes Benz specialist who may be able to come out to the car and throw some light on my problem?
Just wondering if anyone has any experience of using an aftermarket conductor plate on the 722.6 gearbox instead of an OEM part. I'm trying to decide which I should purchase. Common sense says an OEM part but my wallet says otherwise, alternatively I could scrap the car.

I'm not worried about draining the tc as I bought from a Mercedes commercial vehicle mechanic who asdured me he had recently changed the fluid and filter.
Unfortunately the conductor plate appears to have now failed and the connector is leaking badly.

I am assuming the Torque Convertor will remain full of fluid.
Is Mercedes ATF134FE spec MB236.15 a supercession of ATF134 MB236.14?
Can I use MB236.15 in my 722.6 transmission on my 2004 C220 CDI?
Thanks in advance for your help.
