Awww thanks pal,I'm in Lancashire . Yes I had the issue last year when the offside of the tanks emptied and the nearside was brimmed full of fuel. That was indeed the fuel pump affecting the venturi system (which is witchcraft lol ) never did get my head round that but a refurb pump sorted it...
Had both senders out and a proper look,all looks spot on.No leaks anywhere,I think the actual fuel pump may be at fault ,although this was replaced with a recon unit from ecp last year.
There is just one seal that I could see in the low pressure pump (one above the high pressure pump ). When opened up its just two cogs and the green seal ...all looks ok. When I watched the fuel lines earlier I could see a a bubble rising slowly back opposited the correct flow.
Not sure which o rings you are referring to . The only ones I have seen are connected to the fuel lines that are all good going into the low and high pressure pumps both in and out. These pipes where replaced last year. Ps thanks for you're help,it's really appreciated.
Are we referring to the high or low pressure pump ?spun the low pressure pump today with a drill and it seemed to be sucking and blowing well. I also stripped it down to investigate the two cogs and seal which all seemed good.
Thank you. No this does not have a electric pump in the tank. I have removed the sender unit from the offside and submerged both the feed and return to the bottom of the tank. Left it for the last 5 hours,it started but took quite a bit of cranking . Maybe 7/8 seconds before it fired. I did see...
