Hi all. I've recently noticed that my nearside headlight on my 2013 CLS keeps flickering on and off. It doesn't always do it, but when it does its not long before it works normally.

An update for anyone who wants to know....
The cause of my limp mode and engine management light was a dodgy exhaust pressure sensor.
All fixed now thanks to my local Merc specialists.
Glad it wasn't something more serious.

A little update, I have had to take the car home ready for when it goes to its garage appointment and when I started it low and behold the engine management light came on. I was actually quite relieved because at least they will be able to pin point the problem. Hopefully!

Yeah. Left the car at work, and borrowed a van. I don't want to compound the issue. Hopefully it's a sensor somewhere and not another massive bill.
I've already had the dreaded oil cooler O rings replaced at great expense.
Hi. No warning lights of any kind. I switched the engine/ignition off and on and it briefly returned to normal only to start with the aforementioned problems again.
I will book it in with my local Mercedes specialist on Monday morning for a proper diagnosis and remedy.

Hello all. All this happened to me this morning. From cold start up, it has weird gearchanges, no kick down, no power like it should have.

HI all. I like to change my oil every 5k or so. I buy a 20ltr cube off ebay for about £70 ish, and buy the genuine filters from whoever is selling them cheapest, (about £7-£8 each) and I use a vacuum pump to suck it out of the sump. Nice easy job that takes about half an hour or so.

Cheers. There is a definite noise coming from the passenger door, and there was a particularly bad noise coming from the centre console where the cup holders are. No loose keys or coins or anything, just a constant ticking/buzzing today.

Lol, there was no demo drive. Basically I bought it over the phone, drove my trusty old CLS up to the dealership, and p'xed it. As it's such low mileage I just expected it to be great, and to be fair, it is. Just the rattles!
